Here’s Gigi De Lana’s Response To Bashers Who Criticized Her New Hairstyle
GIGI DE LANA – Singer and actress Gigi de Lana reacted to the bashers of her new hairstyle.
Gigi de Lana first rose to fame when she became a finalist in “Tawag ng Tanghalan” of “It’s Showtime.” She became an instant star when the online sessions of her band The Gigi Vibes went viral during the height of the pandemic.
Due to her viral video of the song Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita, she is now known as the Rising Viral Star. Her fans and supporters are multiplying because of her talent. She also had the opportunity to appear in the 2020 film Four Sisters Before the Wedding.
In 2021, Gigi de Lana formally inked a contract with ABS-talent CBN’s agency Star Magic. She can be seen regularly every Sunday on ABS-CBN’s musical variety show “ASAP Natin ‘To.”
According to the report in Bandera, Gigi de Lana said in an interview that one of her musical career goals had come true. She had always wanted to perform on ASAP, and it actually happened.

Based on a report from Bandera, Gigi de Lana took to FB and replied to bashers of her haircut. The singer now dons a shorter haircut which did not appeal much to some netizens. They then started basing Gigi telling her that her new hair does not suit her and she looks uglier.
“Pumangit ka.”
“Mas bagay saýo yung long hair mo.”
“Pa hair extensions ka na lang.”
The singer responded and said that the netizens’ comments are valid. She then said that even if she would shave her hair, there’s really nothing that anyone can do.
“Guys, alam niyo super valid ‘yung mga comments niyo sa akin: ‘Pumangit ka,’ Mas bagay sa’yo ‘yung long hair mo,’ ‘Bakit ka nagpagupit?’ ‘Pa-hair extensions ka na lang””
“Guys, kahit magpakalbo ako, wala tayong magagawa. Kayo din naman nagpapagupit. Kung trim-trim lang, nagpagupit pa rin kayo. Okay lang yan,” she added.
