Toni Gonzaga Concert Producer Denies Giving Free Tickets

Producer Denies Giving Free Tickets for Toni Gonzaga 20th-Anniversary Concert

The producer for the 20th-anniversary concert of multimedia star Toni Gonzaga denied giving away free tickets.

Toni Gonzaga, the controversial star, will stage her “I Am Toni” concert to commemorate her 20 years in show business. It will be held on January 20, 2023, the birthday of the TV host-actress-content creator, in the Araneta Coliseum.

The Ultimate Multimedia Star began marketing her show late last year with a press conference and social media posts. However, following the poor performance of her Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 film My Teacher in terms of ticket sales, reports circulated that people are not purchasing her concert tickets as well.

It was also claimed that her mother, Mommy Pinty Gonzaga, had to purchase 500 tickets to express her support. According to Joed Serrano, Toni Gonzaga’s Concert producer, as of this writing, only 15% of the tickets had not been sold.

Joed further stated that Toni’s mother purchased 350 tickets for her daughter’s friends, relatives, and churchmates. He further stated that as a concert organizer, he saved 300 tickets to present to his friends who ordered through him rather than Ticketnet. Then he denied giving away free concert tickets.

“Mommy Pinty paid 350 tickets for her friends, relatives and churchmates who ordered from her,” he said. “These tickets are paid. Wala ng libre sa panahon ngayon except pag kapamilya mo ang manonood. Iba ang concert sa pulitika at pelikula,” he said.
