Police Authorities Arrest 3 Suspects After Robbing Hardware Store in QC
The police authorities arrested three male suspects after robbing a hardware in Barangay Payatas, Quezon City.
Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.
The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.
Three male suspects have been arrested after stealing goods such as door locks and electrical supplies inside the hardware. The group reportedly steals hardware supplies worth P8,000, according to the owner.
The owner discovered the robbery incident upon visiting the hardware early in the morning. It was not the first time that the establishment has been robbed, according to Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Roldante Sarmiento.
“Noong pumasok siya doon napansin niyang magulo ang lugar at mayroon pa siyang napansin na may tao pa sa loob, Kaya agad siyang tumawag dito at agad pa natin siyang narespondehan, at nahuli ang isang suspek natin doon sa loob,” Sarmiento said.
One suspect identified as Jovie Gonzalvo hides at the hardware’s ceiling. The cops also arrest his two colleagues named Mark Joey Leano and Rannie Bacarra after receiving a tip from an informant.
Sarmiento says suspects will sell the stolen goods at a junkshop in the area. Gonzalvo admitted the crime but Leano and Bacara denied their involvement in the crime. The three will face a robbery case.
