Traffic Enforcer Threatens to Revoke Motorist’s Driver’s License
A traffic enforcer elicits reactions from the online community over remarks to alleged violator “May tiyahin ako sa LTO, papatangalan kita lisensya”.
The Philippine government and the authorities have been implementing stricter traffic rules and regulations to prevent the increasing rate of accidents. The stricter policy also aims to address the worsening traffic congestion along the road.
However, there are some instances when traffic enforcers commit a mistake due to a lack of knowledge regarding the protocols. Unfortunately, some of them were brave for having connections to the Land Transportation Office or other government agencies.
Recently, the Facebook page “SamicH TV” has shared video footage of a traffic enforcer accusing a motorist of violating the traffic policy. The video garnered various reactions from internet users.
In the video, the traffic enforcer apprehended a motorist. He accused the driver of violating the traffic policy via “obstruction”. The enforcer asked for his identification card and driver’s license.
However, the motorist did not present his license while claiming that he did not commit a violation. The driver and two traffic enforcers have an exchange of heated arguments.
After a few moments, one of the enforcers threatened him of revoking his driver’s license. “May tiyahin ako sa LTO, papatangalan kita lisensya,” the enforcer said.
The driver stand on his ground and answered “Patangal mo gusto mo samahan pa kita.”
