Celebrities Comments on Celeste Cortesi Not Placing in the Top 16 of Miss Universe 2022
CELEBRITIES – Filipino celebrities commented on Celeste Cortesi not placing in the Top 16 of the Miss Universe 2022 pageant.
All Pinoy pageant fans were shocked when Celeste Cortesi was not included in the Top 16 of the Miss Universe 2022 pageant. This is the first time in twelve years that the Philippines did not make it to the semi-finals of the prestigious pageant.
This is a big puzzle for Pinoy pageant fans, especially since Celeste is one of the candidates who can be considered a strong contender. She has always been included in the “final picks” of pageant websites and vlogs.
Even some celebrities were surprised by this and shared their reactions on their social media accounts.
It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda tweeted, “Ha?!”
He joked, “Bawi tayo sa replay mamayang gabi! Hayuffff!”
Miss Universe 2012 1st runner-up Janine Tugonon was also saddened by what happened.
She said, “Oh no!! [broken heart emoji]”
Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up Ariella Arida tweeted a face with a peeking eye and broken heart emoji.
Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia said “Hala” with a sad face emoji.
This is also the reaction of actress Maja Salvador.
Kim Chiu seemed to scream when the last candidate in the top 16 of Miss Universe 2022 was announced. She tweeted, “UNIVERSE BAKIT?!!!!!!!!! Wala kakain!!!! Wala!!!!!!!!????????????????????”
Kim’s message to Celeste, “Congrats celeste!!!!! Ang ganda ng nilaban mo for Philippines!???????? Laos neighbor ilaban mo nalang kami and ACHI Canada ilaban mo kami bilang malapit na ang Chinese new year.”
