A Filipina teen received criticisms and distasteful remarks online for describing her “Charles & Keith” bag as a luxury item.
A Singapore-based Pinay teen Zoe Gabriel has shared the video footage of herself flexing a “Charles & Keith” bag. The video immediately spread like a wildfire online and earned reactions from internet users.
In the TikTok video, Zoe received a bag as a gift from her father. Her dad bought it from the Singaporean fashion house “Charles & Keith”. She even described her bag as a luxury item.

However, her video did not sit well with the online community. Some bashers criticized her for considering her double handle tote bag that costs about P4,799 as a luxury item.
Zoe breaks her silence after receiving negative reactions online. Gabriel explained that her family did not have a lot and her dad have to work so hard to purchase the bag.
“Your comment spoke volumes on how ignorant you seem because of your wealth. To you, an $80 bag may not be a luxury. For me and my family, it is a lot. And I’m so grateful that my dad was able to get me one. He worked so hard for that money,I can’t believe I got hate for a bag I was so excited to have,” Zoe said.
Charles & Keith give the 17-year-old Filipina teen a tour inside the headquarters. She also meets Keith Wong, one of the brand founders.
