Cops Arrest Lady Teacher Arrested for Extorting Money from Victim
The police authorities arrested a lady teacher who also works as a real estate broke over extortion charges.
The authorities launched an entrapment operation to arrest a female public school teacher over extortion charges. The lady suspect sidelines as a real estate broker aside from being a teacher.
According to the victim identified as Jose Terry Dela Cruz, he met the suspect through a common friend. In order to help him with the requirements in the lot he is selling in Baliwag, Bulacan, he requested her for assistance. They started the transaction in July of the previous year.
The victim stated that he paid P503,000 to the suspect in exchange for help. Even a copy of the tax receipt, which was received from the bank via online chat, was submitted by the suspect. But when the victim asked for the original receipt, she was unable to present one.
Dela Cruz decided to visit the bank and the BIR since he had his suspicions. He acknowledged that the presented receipt is fake and that the suspect did not do any transaction. He pleaded with the suspect to give his money back, but the culprit made no move. She even requested an additional P500,000 for additional taxes.
The victim sought help from the police authorities. The cops launched an entrapment operation and arrested the teacher at a fast food chain in Barangay Bagong Nayon, Baliwag.
The lady teacher claimed that the money she received from Dela Cruz are being kept but admitted that she had not taken care of the document. The culprit will face charges of swindling, estafa, robbery extortion and falsification of documents.
