Vice Ganda Laments the Lack of Gravy on His Jollibee Chicken Joy
The “Unkabogable” comedian Vice Ganda was saddened after the fast-food chain Jollibee did not include gravy in their famous Chicken Joy.
The It’s Showtime host posted a video on TikTok about the first saddest event that happened to him in 2023. While sharing a package of chicken from the popular fast-food company Jollibee, the comic almost burst into tears.
He ordered a 2-piece Chicken Joy meal from Jollibee, according to his video. He was disappointed, however, to discover that no gravy was provided in the dinner box.
“Ang pinakamalungkot na nangyari sa akin ngayon sa pagpasok ng taon 2023 ay ito: ang Jollibee Chicken Joy na walang gravy. Ang lungkot naman noon. Ba’t naman ganoon? Jollibee Petron Nlex, walang gravy? Wala na ba talagang kasamang gravy?,” he said.
“Walang gravy? Ang lungkot. Chicken sad , hindi Chicken Joy. Walang gravy, Jollibee? Ang lungkot,” Vice lamented in his video.
@unkabogableviceganda Such a Chicken Sad day. 💔 I love you GRAVY wherever you are. You will forever be missed! #fyp ♬ Hindi Kita Malilimutan – Basil Valdez
His video went popular on the video-streaming platform, eliciting a variety of emotions from viewers. His followers were similarly disappointed with the Jollibee Chicken Joy meal, noting that it did not taste as well without the gravy.
Meanwhile, Vice discussed his celebrity status. Like many other comedians who have achieved success in the entertainment business, he began his career in comedy clubs. He was eventually able to gain access to mainstream media.
According to the previous story, the It’s Showtime host began at comedy clubs with a P200 to P300 talent fee for each gig. He is now a millionaire, and he is relishing the benefits of his success.
