This is what Joaquin Domagoso said about being a young dad.
JOAQUIN DOMAGOSO – Young actor Joaquin Domagoso breaks his silence about his baby and about being a young father.
Former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno’s son newbie actor Joaquin Domagoso became a father at a young age and his child’s mother is Raffa Castro, daughter of newscaster Diego Castro and sister of Kapuso actress Claire Castro. They kept the pregnancy private and when the news circulated online, they did not deny it.
Their son is Scott Angelo Domagoso and in a previous article, it was his father who confirmed it. He expressed that the baby just gave him more reason to be happy for the rest of his life.
Diego Castro, on the other hand, is not forcing them to get married right away. He told them that they can marry each other when they were ready.
And now, finally speaking about it, Joaquin spoke about it during the media conference of his launching film That Boy In The Dark.
He shared that his son is now 8 months old and it is because of the baby that he finds it hard leaving home. He accordingly misses his little boy all the time. Being a father at a young age has given him so many new feelings.
“Yung mga nakita ko before, hindi ko naintindihan na sinasabi ng tatay ko or yung mama ko. Ngayon, parang nage-gets ko na kaya ito ginawa kasi gusto nila na ganito ang mangyari sa akin,” he said based on a report from PEP.
Seemingly like his lucky charm, since he became a father, acting awards came his way. This year alone, he received Best Actor in 16th Toronto Film and Script Awards which was held in Toronto, Canada.
He claimed another Best Actor award at the 2022 Five Continents International Film Festival (FCIFF), an online festival in Venezuela, and Boden International Film Festival which happened in Sweden.
In the country, he was named Iconic Young Actor Ace of the Year in The Global Iconic Aces Awards 2022 and Promising Young Actor of the Year in the 2022 Philippine Faces of Success.
