Check Out Miss Universe New Sash For The Pageant
MISS UNIVERSE – The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) has unveiled the sash for the 71st edition of the pageant in January 2023.
The Miss Universe pageant will be held in New Orleans on January 14, 2023, and 90 delegates have already signed up. The coronation of the 71st edition of the pageant was postponed in order to avoid a conflict with the FIFA World Cup event.
This implies that there will probably be two (2) queens crowned the next year. Model and beauty queen Celeste Cortesi will represent the Philippines at the prestigious pageant. The Miss Universe Philippines organization recently urged all Pinoys to support Celeste in winning the crown.
The MUO unveiled the new crown for the pageant, “The Crown Number 12: Force for Good.” The beautiful crown is valued at approximately $5.58 million (about Php 332 million).

Aside from a new crown, the MUO also introduced what it dubbed “the universe’s first sustainable sash” for the 71st edition of the pageant in January 2023.
The eco-friendly sash was unveiled on Miss Universe’s official Instagram account on Friday, December 23. It was created in collaboration with The Sash Company, a company based in the United States.
The sash is made from 100% post-consumer recycled fabric and thread, as well as rhinestones that were ethically created, according to the MUO. The group noted that the sash was developed in an effort to uphold its dedication to environmental sustainability and protection.
