Francine Diaz shared her thoughts on ‘My Teacher’ movie
Kapamilya actress Francine Diaz received bashing for supporting the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 movie My Teacher of Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga and Henyo Master Joey de Leon.
Francine is one of the celebrities who attended the premiere night of the said movie. Toni shared a vlog about the event. In the video, celebrities who attended shared their thoughts on the movie.
Francine said that My Teacher touched her soft part. She also said that people, especially the younger generation will learn a lot from the movie. The actress also encourage the public to watch this film.
With this, based on the article in Abante, Francine Diaz received bashing. @ALTStarMagic Twitter Page shared a video of the actress’s statement. “Kaya Andrea Brillantes tayo for 2023!” the Twitter fan page wrote in the caption of her post.
Here are some of the negative comments that Francine received from netizens due to her statement about My Teacher.
“Kaya pala mainit ang dugo ng nanay ko sa kanya hahaha now I know may itinatago itong babaitang ito. Hindi naman kagandahan si gurl. Kaya kay @blythe (Andrea) na ako. Lol,” Twitter user @JepokpokTop commented.
On the other hand, there were those who defended her. One said that it is because Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte are part of the movie and they are friends of Francine Diaz.
“I am proud and loud Leni supporter at the same time fan ako kay Francine and a Kakampink and I think walang mali sa ginawa niya. Naisip mo ba na artist din sya? She support Loisa Andalio dahil kaibigan niya. Set aside the politics and alam natin nakakadiri ang maging apologist.” – Twitter user @janinegutzlover said.
Another netizen said that the Twitter page should not drag the name of Andrea Brillantes on this issue. “Damay na naman si Andrea, can you please stop dragging her name on this nonsense issue and nonsense movie. Naman kayo huy, naturingan pa naman kayong kakampink,” Twitter post @andrewblythe_ said.
