Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda and Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga were spotted hugging each other during the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2022 Parade of Stars.

Both Toni and Vice have their respective entries for this year’s film festival. Vice is the star in the movie Partners In Crime with Ivana Alawi and this is under Star Cinema. This is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Toni’s entry this year is My Teacher with Joey de Leon. This movie is directed by Toni’s husband Paul Soriano and it is under their production companies, Ten17P and Tincan Productions.

One of the traditions of the film festival is the Parade of Stars which was held on December 21. The parade started from Welcome Rotonda and went along Quezon Avenue and ended at Quezon Memorial Circle where a program was held.

Movie entries have their respective floats. One particular instance that caught the attention of the spectators during the parade was when Vice Ganda went down on their float and climbed up on the float of My Teacher.

Then, he and Toni Gonzaga hugged each other and had their little “chika.” It was said that people around them were so happy to see that moment between the two stars. Apparently, there had been intrigues between them since they supported different presidential candidates during the election.

Vice campaigned for former Vice President Leni Robredo while Toni was the campaign host of President Bongbong Marcos’s Uniteam. With this scenario that happened during the parade, Vice and Toni put an end to the rumors that their friendship was affected by politics.
