Ogie Diaz talked about the much-awaited return of Vhong Navarro to ‘It’s Showtime’
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared the conversation that he had with Kapamilya actor-host Vhong Navarro.
Fans have been anticipating Vhong’s return to It’s Showtime after he was granted his temporary freedom in connection with his legal battle against model Deniece Cornejo. The decision of the court to allow him to post bail is a blessing for him and his family this holiday season.
After he was released from detention, photos of Vhong with his Streetboys family surfaced online. Over the years, despite that their dance group is no longer active, they still support each other’s endeavors.
Previously, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda shared in a recent episode of their noontime show that many people have been asking him about Vhong Navarro’s return. He said that this is also his question but one thing he could say is that Vhong will return.
In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie Diaz, this was one of the topics he talked about with Mama Loi and Tita Jegs. He said that it is expected that Vhong will return to the noontime show next year.
Apparently, Vhong’s comeback will fall on his birthday celebration as his birthday is on January 4. Ogie also said that it can be noticed that Vhong was absent during the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2022.
“Kasi nga nakausap ko si Vhong Navarro,” Ogie said. The actor-host said that for now, he will not be in It’s Showtime but definitely, he will come back.
Ogie also said that Vhong wants to focus now on his family, especially on his kids who went through mental stress when he was detained. “Syempre gusto ni Vhong na magkakasama sila ngayong Pasko at Bagong Taon na walang iniintindi na trabaho kundi yung kaniyang mga anak lang,” the talent manager-vlogger shared.
When Mama Loi asked about the finances in Vhong’s family while he was detained, Ogie said that knowing the It’s Showtime host, he has savings from his previous projects. However, Ogie said that since Vhong spent several months in the detention center and had to pay for his lawyer, he needed to sell some of his properties and belongings.
