Dennis Padilla Dismayed By Outrageous Prices Of Food At Seafood Restaurant
DENNIS PADILLA – Actor Dennis Padilla aired his frustration at a seafood restaurant due to the outrageous prices.
Actor-comedian Dennis Padilla is one of the famous celebrities in the Philippines. He has three (3) kids with Marjorie Barretto: Julia, Leon, and Claudia.
In a post on his Instagram account last December 17, Dennis couldn’t help but air his frustration toward Aling Mahrya, a seafood restaurant in Seaside, Pasay City. In a video that he posted, he said that they paid P450 for a mango shake and P5500 per kilo for a lobster.
Dennis Padilla claimed that he, his “balikbayan” friend, and five other people went to the seafood restaurant. However, they were terribly let down instead of enjoying their get-together.
“Nakaka-frustrate, nakakalungkot… kasi kapwa Pilipino, ganun ang ginagawa nila. Kung pupunta kayo rito, tanong n’yo muna kung magkano yung price… sobra… kami sanay kaming magbayad nang mahal, pero ito sobra,” said Dennis.

Dennis Padilla said that even though he was used to dining at expensive restaurants, the experience at Aling Mahrya was “too much” for him. Their bill after dining at the mentioned restaurant was approximately P38,000.
The actor said that since his balikbayan friend had paid for their supper, he felt bad for him. In the last part of his video, Dennis urged the Department of Tourism to check into the establishments at Seaside.
“Kung puwede, sana i-check ito ng Department of Tourism, na maraming mga kapwa nating Pilipino ang pinaghihirapan ang kinikita nila sa ibang bansa, tapos para silang naholdap sa restaurant na ito,” he said.

Dennis Padilla’s IG post went viral and elicited mixed reactions from the netizens and among those who commented is his friend Janno Gibbs. In the comment section, he wrote: “Grabe nmn presyo!”

Mali na nga yun ginawa nung Merchant for over pricing pero this could have been prevented if they check the menu first and also inquire nung mga prices ng seafoods na binebenta. If they have done that its either sa iba na lang sila kumain thus preventing his bestfriend from paying 38K or baka si merchant eh nagbigay lang nung tamang price. Nakita siguro kasi na kasama si Dennis Padilla then balikbayan pa yun kasama tapos d nag ask ng price kaya ganun ginawa nila
