Dad of Pinoy Singer Jovit Baldivino Recalls Last Days of His Son

JOVIT BALDIVINO – Hilario Baldivino, the singer’s father recalled the last days of his son “Three songs lang kanta niya. Pagkatapos nakita na siya nakaupo, nakangiwi ang nguso.

On Friday (December 9, 2022), the Filipino singer Jovit Baldivino passed away around 4:00 am at the age of 29. He died six days after his confinement at the hospital due to stroke complications and hypertension.

Jovit’s father Hilario Baldivino revealed that his son suffered a mild stroke on November 22, 2022, and was diagnosed with heart enlargement. The singer received treatment at Batangas hospital for five days.

The Pinoy singer recovered and was invited to perform at a Christmas party in Batangas City last weekend. Unfortunately, Jovit suffered another stroke and was rushed to the hospital. He was transferred to the ICU at Jesus of Nazareth Hospital.

Hilario revealed that the doctor advised Jovit not to sing while recuperating. The 29-year-old celebrity sang three songs including Journey’s Faithfully but he was already gasping for breath during the third song.

Baldivino’s face was deformed with flowing salivas while he was sitting an hour after his performance. He underwent a CT scan and discovered a blood clot in his brain, which indicates a sign of a brain aneurysm.

“Three songs lang kanta niya. Pagkatapos nakita na siya nakaupo, nakangiwi ang nguso. Nadala agad siya sa ospital, nakalakad mula ambulansya, Nasabi pa niya na lalaban siya dahil gusto niyang mabuhay! Pero na comatose na siya pagkatapos ng operasyon,” Hilario said.

The singer’s young sibling expressed their grief after Jovit passed away. “Marami siyang pinasaya, at alam din namin mahal siya at kami ng mga tao kaya masakit man, nagpapasalamat pa rin kami sa Diyos dahil yan ang tinadhana niya sa aming pamilya.“
