PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (December 8, 2022)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that a low-pressure area outside the Philippine area or responsibility will trigger rain showers in many parts of the country.
On Thursday (December 8, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Administration (Pagasa) released the latest weather update in the country. The LPA will affect the country’s weather conditions.
PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area has been last spotted over 1,265 kilometers east of Mindanao. The LPA is expected to enter PAR on Thursday, which will affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
The LPA’s trough will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Catanduanes, Albay, Masbate, and Sorsogon.
The shear line will bring similar weather condition over Cagayan, Apayao, and Ilocos Norte.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected over Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Marinduque, and the rest of the Bicol Region. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have the same weather condition due to the localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be rough. The rest of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
