PAGASA Says Easterlies and Shear Line to Affect PH Weather Condition

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the shear line and easterlies will bring rain showers over parts of the country.

On Tuesday (December 6, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The shear line and easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA reported that the Shear Line will be affecting Northern Luzon while the Easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country.

The shear line will bring cloudy weather conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Cagayan.

The Easterlies / localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over the entire Visayas, Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The northeast monsoon will bring similar weather condition over Batanes. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience the same weather condition.

The weather agency has also warned the public about possible flash floods or landslides Flash floods or landslides and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the seaboards of Extreme Northern Luzon will be rough. The remaining parts of the country will have slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions.
