Teacher Instructing Students to Read Bible During Class Goes Viral

A male teacher earns praises online for making his students read bible verses during their class discussion.

Teacher is an employee hired in both private and public schools to teach young kids regarding academics. They were tasked to help students to acquire knowledge, competence, or virtue in order to become a better person in the future.

Within the school premises, teachers also act as the second parents of the students. They were expected to look out for and nurture the young students. Educators also help students to be responsible citizens.


The Facebook page “Jerics Channel” has shared video footage of a male teacher who lets his students read Bible verses in the middle of class discussion. The video garnered reactions from internet users.

In the video, it can be seen that Teacher Jeric is discussing a Math lesson with his students but suddenly presented a piece of paper containing a Bible verse “1 Peter 2:17 – Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor”

The educator reminded his students to fear and acknowledge God. He presented several Bible verses and teaches some life lessons to young learners. He also gets emotional while encouraging his students.


Teacher Jeric also lets his students read Bible verses after solving a Math problem on the board. He also gives prizes to the learners after solving problems and reading verses.

I enriched my children’s learning percentage in Math 6 by reading bible scriptures. A chance for our students to celebrate and be joyful in the presence of God.”
