A lady senior citizen has lost her wallet to a female thief using “Laslas bag” modus in Marikina Public Market.

Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.

The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.

The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared video footage of a female thief using “Laslas bag” modus to steal a victim’s wallet. The video earns criticisms from the online community.

In the video, it can be seen that some female customers flocked to a fruit stand beside the road. The shoppers start to look for fruits and go with their own businesses without noticing the illegal activity.

An elderly woman carrying an eco bag was busy picking fruits when a lady shopper carrying a white bag arrived. She placed it near the senior citizen’s bag and started to perform her illegal activity.

The lady culprit suddenly walk away after she successfully took the wallet. After a few moments, the poor grandma noticed that her wallet is missing as she attempt to pay for her purchase.

It can be heard that the granny’s important documents and identification cards were placed inside her wallet. The video has been originally posted by a netizen named Letty Garcia.
