PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Tuesday (November 29)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the northeast monsoon and ITCZ will bring rains over parts of the country.

On Tuesday (November 29, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeast monsoon and Intertropical Convergence Zone will affect the country’s weather condition.

The northeast monsoon is comprised of “cold winds from the northeast, which will bring rains over the eastern side of the country.

PAGASA reported that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Mindanao. It will bring cloudy weather condition and rains over Cebu and Davao.

“Sa ating three-day weather outlook, mula bukas, Miyerkules, hanggang Biyernes, December 2, inaasahan natin itong amihan o northeast monsoon, ay makaka-apekto sa northern Luzon, pagdating sa Huwebes at Biyernes,” Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.

The ITCZ / localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy weather condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

Kabikulan, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will experience similar weather condition.

Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country will have generally fair weather conditions with chances of isolated rain due to localized thunderstorms and the intertropical convergence zone.

The weather agency has also warned the public for the entire country of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the entire country will be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
