Kapamilya singer Erik Santos mourns over great loss.
ERIK SANTOS – Famous singer Erik Santos makes a short but heartfelt message for his mother who just passed away.
Filipino singer, television host, actor and model, Erik Santos rose to fame after being hailed as the first grand champion of the ABS-CBN singing competition Star in a Million Season 1 in 2004. He has made several hit songs and is now one of the most well-respected artists in the music industry.
Your Love, This is the Moment, Pagbigyang Muli, Nais, Kulang Ako Kung Wala Ko, I’ll Never Go, and Awit Para Sa’Yo are just a few songs he famed.
And just recently, in an Instagram post, the singer shared heartbreaking news. He lost a very important person in his life because of lung cancer.
In his post, he shared that his mother Angelita Ramos-Santos passed away and she died at the age of 66 because of lung cancer.
It was as if she waited for him to come home before going because he just arrived from his Threelogy concerts series in the United States along with other artists such as Christian Bautista and Morissette Amon.
To recall, his mother was diagnosed with the disease last February.
He said “She is finally home with Jesus. 🙏🏻❤️ I love you so much, Nanay,” and “Mahal na mahal na mahal kita, Nanay. ❤️” in his posts.
