Unkabogable star Vice Ganda is one of the mainstay hosts of Showtime. His funny banters with other Showtime hosts is one of the things that make the show that is airing for 13 years now a lively program that entertains a lot of people.
Every year, Showtime celebrates its anniversary and the event is dubbed as “Magpasikat” wherein the hosts treat the “Madlang People” with their performances. Recently, during its 13th anniversary, Vice Ganda did not only surprise the viewers with his number with Amy Perez but with an early Christmas bonus for the Showtime host.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, after his Magpasikat number with Amy Perez, Vice Ganda expressed his love, gratitude, and apology to the Showtime staff. He acknowledged the efforts of the staff for the success of the program and apologized for the times they had misunderstandings which he stressed as inevitable in a “family”.
According to Vice, all the misunderstandings were coming from “love” and the pursuit of everyone to fulfill his or her obligations to the program.
“I love you and I apologize. Lahat naman tayo may pagkukulang at sablay sa isa’t isa… We apologize for our shortcomings,” the comedian said.
Based on the report, the cheers were then followed by what the staff anticipated. Vice Ganda asked for the current headcount of the staff of Showtime which is now at 300.
