CATRIONA GRAY – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s interaction with Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip at the Miss Universe Extravaganza in Thailand went viral.
Filipina-Australian beauty queen and singer Catriona Gray won the Miss Universe crown in 2018. She is the fourth Filipina who won the title.
In a previous article, the 28-year-old celebrity shared her thoughts on married women and moms joining the Miss Universe competition. According to the official IG account of the national director of Miss Universe Dominican Republic, Magali Febles, the beauty pageant will start accepting wives and mothers with children starting next year.
The Miss Universe pageant previously only allowed single women who never had children or were married. MUO also previously scrapped the height requirement.
Catriona Gray said serving as Miss Universe is equivalent to serving as a spokeswoman, and a woman’s marital status shouldn’t prevent her from doing so.
The beauty queen recently met Thai businesswoman and media mogul Anne Jakrajutatip. Anne is the CEO of the JKN Global Group and the new owner of the Miss Universe Organization.

The Thai crowd went wild when Catriona Gray came face to face with Anne Jakrajutatip. Cat attended the “Miss Universe Extravaganza,” which marked the 71st edition of the prestigious beauty pageant. She was joined by the current Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu of India, as well as former winners Natalie Glebova of Canada, Leila Lopes of Angola, and Andrea Mesa of Mexico.
A clip extracted from the event broadcasted on JKN media showed Anne reaching for Cat’s hands before they had a brief talk and leaned in for a cheek-to-cheek air kiss, which elicited raucous applause from the crowd.
Netizens couldn’t help but be curious about what the transgender billionaire and beauty queen talked about during their interaction.

It can be recalled that Catriona’s ex-boyfriend Clint Bondad, who gained attention online after their breakup in 2019 due to his cryptic remarks, was previously romantically linked with Anne. The businesswoman and Bondad drew romance speculations after he shared a snap of himself with Anne.
