Employer Earns Praises for Giving Free “Alak” to Construction Workers
CONSTRUCTION WORKERS – A kind employer goes viral and earns praises online for giving free “Alak” (Gin) to construction workers.
Construction workers are usually tired, stressed, and exhausted after the entire day of enduring the scorching heat of the sun or inclement weather conditions while completing a construction site.
Some workers are hanging out and drink alcoholic beverages after a whole day of exhausting work.
The Facebook page “Mr. Contractor” has shared video footage of a female manager giving free gin to the construction workers during payday. The video garnered various reactions from social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that the middle-aged lady is distributing the salary of construction workers during their payday. At first, the scenery looks like an ordinary payday until the woman pulled out a box of gin.
The lady is also giving a bottle of free Ginebra San Miguel Gin to each worker and told them not to use their salary to buy alcoholic drinks. The employer even gives the workers some amount for ‘pulutan’.
“Oh heto huwag niyo babawasan yung sahod niyo ha, alam ko bibili kayo ng gin, diba P500 yung sahod oh ayan para may pampulutan ka na rin,” the woman said.
The funny lady even joked “imposible pang hindi kayo malasing sa gin nay an”. The woman reminded the workers to stay put and wait for the foreman’s call.
