Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared his thoughts after he interviewed Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza on his YouTube channel.

Aside from this Showbiz Update vlogs, in which he and his co-hosts talk about hot showbiz issues, Ogie also has another channel for his interviews. In a recent episode of his interview, he featured Maine.

The Eat Bulaga host shared how she started in the entertainment industry including her Pinoy Big Brother audition until she became part of the longest-running noontime show in which she started as a character in Kalye Serye.

Through that segment, her love team with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards became a huge hit. That was the birth of the AlDub Nation. However, that success came with a consequence. It is because there are fans who believe that Maine and Alden are in a relationship with each other and that they have already a child.

During the interview, Maine said that she has called a lot of fans who believe this kind of lie and who continue to believe it even after she debunked the rumor. These kinds of fans still can’t accept that Maine is now in a relationship with actor-politician Arjo Atayde. They even got engaged last July.

Despite the “delusion” that some AlDub fans still hold on to, there are fans of Maine who showed support for her after the said interview was uploaded.
