Maine Mendoza has finally addressed this issue about her and Alden Richards
Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza called out some “delusional” AlDub fans, the avid supporters of her love team with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Maine and Alden’s onscreen partnership is indeed phenomenal. From Eat Bulaga‘s Kalye Serye segment, they were able to do a lot of shows and movies. Undoubtedly, the “kilig” that they brought to their fans was remarkable.
With Maine and Alden’s popularity, the AlDub fandom was created. However, some of the fans’ “kilig” moment was stopped when Maine directly told their fans that there is nothing romantic between her and Alden as some believed that they are in a relationship with each other in real life.
In a recent interview on talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, Maine Mendoza set the record straight. The Phenomenal is aware that there are people who want to feed their imagination.
“For lack of a better term, delusion nila,” Maine said, adding that as early as possible, the truth should be told. She pointed out that one can be entertained and have enjoyment without hurting other people.
Maine does not want other celebrities to be dragged into the issue as well and so she would contact them privately and apologize to them. The Eat Bulaga host reiterated that there is no truth to the rumor that she and Alden Richards are married and that they already have a child.
Maine said that she already personally reached out to AlDub fans who believe this rumor and tried to explain to them that there is no truth to this but she would receive replies saying that the message is not really from her but from the admin of her social media account. The point came when got tired of explaining because those AlDub fans won’t believe her.
On the other hand, Maine Mendoza is thankful to those fans who accepted that what she and Alden Richards had was just a love team partnership.
