Sharon Cuneta “Nagyabang”?; Recalls Hermès Incident

Once and for all, Sharon Cuneta addresses issue in the Hermes store.

SHARON CUNETA – Megastar Sharon Cuneta explains the issues in the Hermes store that went viral and received backlash.

In a previous article, Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared a video of her being stopped to enter a Hermes store in South Korea. At first glance, many people assumed that she was denied entrance but the truth is, getting into the store of the luxury brand needs an appointment.

It sparked backlash because her video made it appear like she was discriminated but really, the staff just did his job. It has caught much attention online. And in a reply to a netizen, she revealed that she was actually aware of this protocol. She just took a chance.

In a new video where she hauled the items she shopped during her vacation in South Korea, she spent time explaining what really transpired since this issue has become “paulit-ulit” and some people seemed to have not heard her explanation.

She reiterated that she is aware of the protocol. She wasn’t also expecting to receive VIP treatment as she is aware that she is not famous in that foreign country.

“So, parang why will you expect VIP treatment from… first of all, I’m not the type, okay? I just like fair treatment. Ayoko ng injustice. Ayoko ng kaya hindi ka pinapapasok kasi may discrimination,” she explained.

And regarding the accusation that she boasted when she passed by the store again while carrying the items from another luxury brand, she refuted it.

“Hindi rin ako nagyabang. Kaya sabi ko, ‘Yes, I cannot go [inside]. Look, I bought everything.’ Ginanun ko lang siya, pero nakangiti ako,” she said.
