Carla Abellana says she has high tolerance when it comes to pain
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana talked about being “malaya” and being able to focus on herself now.
Carla’s breakup with actor Tom Rodriguez became the talk of the town a few months ago. The former couple surprised their fans when speculations about their relationship surfaced online.
Eventually, it was confirmed that their marriage has legally ended a few months after they tied the knot. They had been together for seven years and their breakup came with a lot of issues that shocked the showbiz world.
After the divorce, Carla and Tom go back to living their lives separately. The actor is currently in the States with his family. He is doing some shows in the U.S. while the actress is busy doing her showbiz engagements in the country.
Carla Abellana had an appearance on The Boobay and Tekla Show just recently, based on the article in Abante. The actress was asked if she is “malaya.” Carla answered, “Aba’y dapat malaya! Malaya tayo!”
Super Tekla, who is one of the hosts of the show, asked the actress if she is “wild and free,” she said that she is just free but not wild. “Malaya. Para bang maganda na isipin mo ang sarili mo, ipagtanggol mo ang sarili mo,” the actress explained.
During the show, Carla was also asked about the tattoos that she has, including the small red heart that she has behind her ear. The actress said was asked how she handled the pain.
She shared that she has high tolerance when it comes to pain but this also has a limit. “Pero hindi naman din, alam mo ‘yun, ‘yung masokista ka na. Basta kapag may masakit, hangga’t kaya mong tiisin, tiis lang. Alam mo namang hindi rin magtatagal ‘yan,” the actress said.
In a previous interview, Carla Abellana admitted that her breakup with Tom Rodriguez affected her self-confidence.
