What’s up now with Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez after they separated?
CARLA ABELLANA AND TOM RODRIGUEZ – Three months after marriage, Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez separated and this is their life now.
Kapuso stars Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana tied the knot in a beautiful and grand wedding last October 2021. However, just three months after this, they separated. It came out as rumors at first but over time, it has been confirmed.
The actress is in the country while Tom flew to the United States. The reason behind their separation wasn’t clarified but there were rumors that there was a third-party involved. There were also issues about money according to the grapevine but in the end, only they know the truth.
Previously, Tom admitted that one of the reasons was when he lost his money to a scam but it never did happen that he lay a hand on her. He would never hurt his wife.
“I have accepted her decision that it is time to move forward, independent from each other. I have to teach myself how to fall out of love from her. This will be a lonely, painful path that I shall take, but together with my family here in the US,” he said.
Now, how is their life after the separation?
Tom is still in America. He makes appearances and sings at events there. He can’t still say when he will be coming back to the country and in terms of moving on, he expressed meaningfully, “I’m getting there.”
Carla, on the other hand, is busy building her own house. The construction started in March and they are hoping that her place will be finished mid-year of next year.
She said based on report from PEP, “Yun lang. Pero oh my God, grabe ang gastos! Lalo na ang construction materials ang taas ng presyo. Pero thankfully, kinakaya naman. Laging may enough funds talaga na set side for the construction for the house. Okay siya. Exciting! Maraming blessings din.”
