World’s Dirtiest Man Who Refused Not to Taking Bath for 67 Years Dies at the Age of 94
World’s dirtiest man identified as Amou Haji who did not take shower for a couple of decades passed away at the age of 94.
The Iranian man named Amou Haji who has been tagged as the dirtiest man in the world for not washing for more than half a century saddened the online community after he passed away.
The elderly man died in the village of Dejgah in the southern province of Fars. The latter refused to have bathed with water and soap for more than 60 years over fears of “getting sick” due to his “emotional setbacks in his youth”.
According to the local villagers, Haji has some sort of trauma during his younger years, which led him to refuse to wash. A few years ago, he was found covered in soot and living in a cinder-block shack.
The hermit would even eat roadkill and smoke a pipe filled with animal excrement. The old man believes that cleanliness would make him sick. He could often be found roaming around the streets consuming dirty stuff.
The deceased hermit has been featured in a short documentary film titled “The Strange Life of Amou Haji” in 2013.
A few months ago, the villagers had taken him to a bathroom to wash for the first time after a few decades, according to the reports.
