Anthony Taberna Shares His Latest “New Blessing” as Shopee Endorser
Seasoned broadcaster Anthony ‘Ka Tunying’ Taberna hints netizens that he will be the new endorser of the online shopping app Shopee.
The incisive journalist posted the most recent blessing in his life to Facebook. He also teases a picture of himself in a confetti shower with an identical orange background.
“Maraming salamat sa panibagong biyaya. Abangan sa 11-11!,” he says in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
The Ka Tunying hint photo was rapidly noticed by internet users. They offered their congratulations to Taberna while speculating that Shopee might have chosen him to be their upcoming brand ambassador.
Even more, netizens commented that Leni Robredo’s ‘Kakampinks,’ or fans, will be outraged and critical of him in the future. Some people quip that they increase hospital bed capacities in anticipation of some detractors collapsing upon hearing the news.
‘Mga PINKLAWAN magwawala na naman neto,” commented a follower while another said, “Marami pong mai-stroke neto… ipahanda na ang bed capacities ng hospitals.”

The prominent online shopping platform Shopee, which uses the color orange, earlier chose Toni Gonzaga as their brand ambassador for their “10.10 Brands Festival.” This decision caused a stir on social media, sparking calls to boycott Gonzaga and remove or uninstall the Shopee app.
Despite the backlash, Gonzaga had only kind words to say to her detractors as she thanked them “for the mentions, for the engagement because they are also one of the reasons why we are here where we are today.”
