2 Fired Police Officers in Quezon City Arrested Over Involvement in Robbery
Authorities arrested two (2) fired police officers due to their involvement in a robbery incident in Quezon City.
In a follow-up operation carried out by the authorities in Fairview and Novaliches, the two firing officers were captured. According to reports, the two suspects were complicit in the heist that took place in the Bella Vista Subdivision, Brgy. General Trias Cavite this Tuesday, Santiago.

Franklin Requmin Menor, a resident of Tandang Sora, Quezon City, and John Carl Tabuna Machon, a former patrolman, and resident of Bacoor City, both former police officers, are the two suspects who have been apprehended, according to Christopher Olazo, provincial director of the Cavite Police Provincial Office.
While the victims are 52-year-old Abner Santos and 41-year-old Josie Santos, both of whom live in Bella Vista, Brgy. Gen. Santiago Trias City. Naparato claims that on October 8, 2022, Abner Santos allegedly permitted two fired police officers to spend the night in his home before the event.
The victims were allegedly inside their homes when the armed guys broke in during the investigation. According to the report, they were promptly restrained to the chair after which the interior of the vault was cleaned out, containing only 29 pieces of jewelry totaling P600,000.
The victim’s Armscor 9mm pistol, seven different cell phones, and identification cards were also returned. From Menor, a cal. 45, a typical magazine, and ten live rounds were found.
While this was happening, Machon provided the victim with a 9mm Armscor pistol and 9 live rounds. The suspects are currently being charged with robbery. Olazo gave the police the order to use the CCTV footage to quickly track down and arrest seven more of the two’s acquaintances, among them a police officer who was on duty.
