Paul Soriano was appointed presidential adviser and Toni Gonzaga is a proud partner.

TONI GONZAGA – Paul Soriano as Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications makes Toni Gonzaga a proud wife.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos swore in on Monday multi-award-winning film and television director Paul David Soriano as the Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications post. Soriano took his oath of office presided over by Marcos on October 17.

The presidential adviser’s salary is SG 31, at least Php 273,278.00 monthly. This salary is the same as other posts such as Executive Secretary, Department Secretary, Presidential Spokesman, Ombudsman, Press Secretary, Presidential Assistant with Cabinet Rank, National Economic and Development Authority Director General, Court of Appeals Presiding Justice, Sandiganbayan Presiding Justice, Secretary of the Senate, Secretary of the House of Representatives, and President of the University of the Philippines.”

Present during his oathtaking was his family including his wife Toni Gonzaga and son Seve.

On Instagram, Toni expressed how proud she is of her husband’s achievement amid the critical comments of people online.

Meanwhile, Soriano studied advertising and marketing communications at De Anza College in Cupertino, California, USA. He and his wife were key factors during Marcos’ 2022 electoral campaign. He was also the one who directed the President’s first State of the Nation Address.

The President and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos are their godparents at their wedding and Paul is Soriano’s aunt.

His task as appointed Presidential Adviser for Creative Communications is to advise the Chief Executive and departments and agencies, including government-owned and controlled enterprises on how to improve the dissemination of information on programs and projects.

After being appointed, Paul expressed in a post, “It’s an absolute honor to be able to serve, first and foremost, of course, for the country and then of course for the PBBM administration…”
