Remulla Son Face

Only on October 13 did the authorities make the suspect’s detention public, much to Sec. Remulla. Remulla III’s mugshot was made public on Friday, but internet users weren’t pleased with it because they couldn’t see the suspect’s face.

Some netizens lamented that when an ordinary person is arrested, their face is exposed but if it’s the Secretary’s son it was blurred. Some asserted that when you have influence, things are really different and the authorities treat you differently.

Meanwhile, TV Patrol revealed Remulla III’s face in their news story. based on the snippets on Twitter. Remulla III’s face is obscured in the PDEA’s mugshot, but they have yet to provide an explanation. The suspect is currently being prosecuted for violating RA 9165, and no bail has been set.

After his son was detained in a significant drug bust, the online community called for Remulla to quit his position. In a statement, Remulla made it plain that he will not interfere with or change the circumstances around his son and “will let justice run its own course.”

  1. That is why i have so much respect for Undersecretary Cesar Chavez when he resigned from his position during his stint at the DOTr. The word he used is “DELIKADEZA”!
As an appointed official, when controversy occurs, personal or not, to protect your immediate superior/President and to insulate them from this controvery is to offer to resign. It will now be the prerogative for the President to not accept your resignation as a sign of confidence in your integrity.
DELIKADEZA, DELIKADEZA, DELIKADEZA, where art thou?! Do we not remember then this commercial during the 90’s,
“Ang maling parating ginagawa ng matatanda, sa mata ng bata, ay nagiging tama.”
