To recall, Robredo ran for the presidency last May 2022 elections but failed to secure the position. Before stepping down as VP, her office received the highest audit rating from the Commission on Audit for four straight years.
This recognition proved that the OVP, under her helm, submitted financial statements that adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Amid the pandemic, OVP was also leading in terms of giving help and assistance. Apart from the recognition from COA, they also received a recertification from the International Organization for Standardization last year.
Under Robredo, OVP was able to achieve online medical consultations, free COVID-19 swab tests, dormitories for healthcare workers, and many others.
