Michael Pacquiao Will Not Pursue Boxing After Winning Debut Match
MICHAEL PACQUIAO – The son of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao said that he will not pursue his father’s sports.
After his first amateur bout against Nathaniel Ruiz, Michael Pacquiao reportedly has no plans to engage in boxing again, according to an interview with sports reporter Dyan Castillejo. On October 9 at the BF Homes Phase I Gymnasium in Paranaque, Pacquiao defeated Ruiz by unanimous decision.
However, Pacquiao found the battle challenging as evidenced by the fact that his nose bled after tasting straight from his opponent. Like his father, many online users think Michael has a lot of promise in the sport of boxing.
The young man immediately underlined, though, that he had no intention of continuing with those sports. In an interview, Pacquiao stated that, unlike his brother Jimuel, he simply wanted to test boxing and had no desire to engage in further combat.
Michael claims that this is his final boxing match. He emphasized that all he wanted was to experience the fight in the boxing ring. He made it clear that he will pay greater attention to his music career.
If he decides to alter his mind and carry on boxing like his brother Jimuel, that is unknown. The only eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao, is the father of Michael. Regarding Michael’s first amateur fight, his father has not yet issued a statement.
