Pearl Gonzales Clarifies Rumored Relationship with Pambansang Kolokoy
PEARL GONZALES – The former Star Magic artist has clarified the rumors that she is in a relationship with Pambansang Kolokoy.
Pearl Gonzales, originally Mary Eileen Gonzales, claims she faced harsh criticism after being linked to the divorce of vlogger Joel Mondina, also known as Pambansang Kolokoy, and his wife. She was allegedly the cause of their breakup, according to several netizens.
She made it obvious that Pambansang Kolokoy, the content creator who made headlines after disclosing his divorce from his wife, is his uncle. At the media conference for MPJ Artists hosted by director Perry Escao’s talent management company, Pearl provided the clarification.
“Recently, na-isyu ako. Actually, nag-viral yon. Kasi akala ng tao ako yung new dyowa ni Papa Sam Kolokoy, which is hindi kasi uncle ko yun,” she said.
“Unang-una, hindi pala ako dapat maapektuhan, kasi una, hindi totoo. At ang mga bashers, may gawin kang mabuti, may gawin kang mali, meron silang masasabi,” she added.
Joel Mondina, also known online as Pambansang Kolokoy, is a content creator who makes entertaining web videos. He was raised in Baguio City with his grandparents after being born in La Union.
He arrived in the US in 1994 to be with his OFW parents. You may recall that Joel Mondina revealed in a video that he and his wife, Marites Mondina, had separated.
Many are wondering why Marites is no longer featured in the videos that Joel shares, but he claimed he didn’t want to speak about it just yet because they were working on a process. He also acknowledged that he is in a new relationship right now, and they are reportedly content. He further highlighted that he is a good father and that their kids are in good health.
