How’s Vhong Navarro now?
Actor-host Vhong Navarro has this condition inside the detention center, his friend revealed this.
Vhong is currently detained at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), however, the court has ordered his transfer to Taguig City Jail. The camp of model Deniece Cornejo wanted this to happen as well.
Creative director Willy Cuevas, one of Vhong’s closest friends, shared that he visited the actor-host just recently, based on the article in PEP. The director described Vhong as “in high spirits.”
Willy shared that the visitation time is from 10 AM to 2 PM on weekdays but it’s 10 AM to 1 PM during weekends. When they arrived at the detention center, Vhong Navarro’s wife Tanya Bautista, his mother Imelda, and his manager director Chito Rono were there.
“Nagpaabiso kami na darating dahil kailangan ipaalam muna kay Vhong ang mga dadalaw sa kanya, at pumayag siya,” the creative director said. He also said that he and his wife Ruby gave inspirational books to the It’s Showtime host. They also prayed for Vhong.
“Nung magkita kami ni Vhong, niyakap niya ako. Parang maiiyak siya nang makita niya kami ni Ruby. Nakakalungkot naman,” Willy shared. When Ruby asked Vhong how he is, he answered that his emotions are like roller coaster. There were times when the actor-host feels okay but there were times he would cry really hard.
“At least, gumaan ang pakiramdam niya dahil marami ang dumadalaw sa kanya,” the creative director said, adding that veteran singer Dulce also visited Vhong Navarro and she gave him a Bible.
Willy also said that he told Vhong to just think that he is like in a lock-in taping now and they will visit him always. The creative director also reminded the Kapamilya star to just hang in there. Willy is also thankful that the NBI has a well-organized system for visitation.
