Denise Laurel Shares Why Previous Relationship Didn't Work

DENISE LAUREL – Actress Denise Laurel and basketball star Sol Mercado were a couple before and here’s why their relationship ended.

Denise Laurel and basketball star Sol Mercado were a couple. But for eight years, their relationship has been going on and off. Denise and Sol got engaged in 2013 but three years after, the engagement was called off.

A year after the calling off of their engagement, they got reconciled, and years after again, they separated. It was complicated until it completely ended. Sol is now engaged to former Miss Universe Philippines candidate Sandra Lemonon.

Sol and Sandra now have a baby.

And now, speaking about her relationship with Sol, Denise narrated why their long-term relationship eventually ended.

According to her, inside those eight years were many things and events that happened. She was introduced to many things and was even surprised to have someone who had considered spending his life with her. It was a big thing to have someone such as this but it didn’t work, unfortunately.

Many things contributed to the end of their relationship. There were a lot of uncertainties and she now realized that perhaps, all the postponements of their marriage before were blessings in disguise.

They don’t match. They have different values, beliefs, long-term goals, lifestyles, personalities, and cultures. They can’t seem to find the middle ground in everything to compromise. They tried to do the things that each other wants but they are really just different.

Many things kept happening that eventually led to their last split.

For now, she remained single and she’s enjoying her life as a single woman.
