Barbie Imperial reacts to mean comments in her recent vlog
Actress Barbie Imperial said that she regretted defending her ex-boyfriend actor Diego Loyzaga against the cheating issue.
To recall, rumors surfaced late last year that Diego was having an affair with another woman while he and Barbie were still together. Social media personality Xian Gaza alleged that the actor’s “other woman” was actress AJ Raval.
Back then, Barbie defended her boyfriend. She even slammed AJ for allegedly getting close to Diego. In February this year, it was confirmed that Barbie and Diego are no longer together.
One of the comments that Barbie Imperial read during her mukbang vlog was from a netizen who pointed out Diego’s cheating issue. “Ipinagtatanggol mo pa jowa mo noon, maghihiwalay din pala kayo,” the netizen commented. Even though there was no name that was mentioned, it was quite understandable that the netizen was referring to Diego Loyzaga.
Barbie agreed with this comment. She expressed regret in defending her ex-boyfriend amid that issue. “Totoo, sana hindi ko na lang ipinagtanggol. Kasi bati na kami ni Xian Gaza and in-explain niya sa akin na hindi naman daw talaga siya sa akin galit, do’n sa ex ko,” the actress said.
Barbie also said that from the start, Xian was not attacking but Diego. However, the actress said that back then, she was in love and so that was her reaction. She did everything to protect the man she loved. The actress added that it has always been a natural thing for her to defend the people she loves.
On the other hand, defending her ex-boyfriend against the cheating issue is something that made her regret it. “Medyo pinagsisihan ko ngang pinagtanggol—well, siguro worth it naman kasi minahal ko ‘yung tao e,” Barbie Imperial said.
The actress also mentioned that she and AJ were able to iron out whatever conflict they had.
