Cops Arrest Man Claiming to be “Incredible Hulk” for Killing Fighting Cock
A man claiming to be an “Incredible Hulk” has been arrested for killing a fighting cock after he mistook it for a monster.
The 40-year-old man named Roque Tanucan Lapa of Barangay Poblacion 1 has been arrested by the police authorities after killing a fighting cock in Sitio Upper Cogon in Barangay Poblacion 1, Carcar City last weekend.
A 24-year-old woman named Neslyn Mae Paraiso contacted Carcar City Police Station to seek help to restrain a very drunk man causing a commotion and disturbance in the area. Lapa is allegedly harassing the residents.
Paraiso narrated that they have tried to pacify the suspect but the latter ended up destroying everything he could see including a fighting cock worth P5, 000.
The suspect admitted his irresponsible actions and confessed that he could not control his actions whenever he is drunk. He used to rock to kill the cock. Aside from the recent incident, he was also arrested on September 3 for going berserk.
A lady resident named Herminda Malubay filed a complaint against the culprit for destroying her plants worth P4, 000.
“Lapa said he became the Hulk at that instant and the fighting cock looked like a monster to him, which is why he struck its head with a rock,” Carcar City Police Station chief Lieutenant Colonel Ardeolito Cabagnot said.
Lapa will face charges of malicious mischief. The court allowed to release Lapa after paying the fine.
