A missing drunk man accidentally joined the search party conducting an operation and spend hours to find him.
A Turkish man named Beyhan Mutlu who lives in northwestern Bursa province’s Inegöl district has been reported missing after his wife lost contact with him or a couple of hours. The woman sought the help of Turkish authorities to find her husband.
The authorities immediately launched a search operation to find the drunk man who has gone missing for hours. The drunk man went to the forest after meeting his friends. The incident happened last Tuesday (September 28, 2021).
Mutlu came across a group of rescue workers and volunteers involved in a search mission while roaming into the forest. He joined the rescuers and helped to look for the missing person. However, he had no idea that the search party is looking for him.
The missing man and the rescue workers have spent hours looking for the target in the woods. One of the rescuers shouted his name and he quickly answered “I’m here”. The group realized their mistake of not knowing that the missing person joined its own search party.
One of the workers took him aside to give a statement for getting into trouble with his family. “Don’t punish me too harshly, officer. My father will kill me,” the guy said.
