Cedric Lee reacts to the arrest of Vhong Navarro and here is his statement.
VHONG NAVARRO – Kapamilya star Vhong Navarro surrenders to the National Bureau of Investigation and Cedric Lee has this reaction.
Showtime host Vhong Navarro faces two warrants for cases such as r&ape and for acts of lasciviousness. He was able to post bail on the latter but on the former charges, he got detained. The case is not bailable and these were the cases filed by model Deniece Cornejo regarding the incident in 2014.
“We Stand With Vhong” movement has been set off and Its Showtime hosts expressed support for him. He has surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Tuesday, September 20, and his lawyer Alma Mallonga said that they will not stop seeking reconsideration of the order to issue an arrest warrant.
“Mr. Navarro reiterates that he is the victim of the crimes of Serious Illegal Detention and Grave Coercion,” Mallonga said. Kat Alano made some controversial posts following his arrests and just recently, Cedric Lee, one of the guys who mauled him in 2014, reacted to this as well.
“He has to face all the charges against him. Just like we did. I feel slightly vindicated because finally, we will have our day in court after almost 9 years,” he said.
Lee was given authorization by Cornejo to receive the arrest warrant because she is not here. He added that he must now answer for all the crimes he did and to his victims as he cannot hide anymore behind “De Lima who’s now in jail, or Calvento who’s now dead, or ABS who lost its franchise”.
In 2018, Lee, Cornejo, and Jed Fernandez were found guilty of grave coercion in connection with the charges filed by Navarro. The actor, in 2014, was assaulted and detained in Cornejo’s condo unit and was forced to admit a crime he never did by signing in a police blotter.

Kat Alano will also be vindicated. We all know who she is alluding to when she twitted those cryptic messages about her powerful rapist who has a very strong connection because of a relative working in ABiaS CBN. I just hope they get the justice they all deserved. I guess it’s about time Kat will also file a case against the name that rhyme with wrong so that she will also get justice on what that person did to her.
