But if there’s a guest most memorable, it would have to be Bongbong Marcos, her “ninong” who is now the president of the Philippines. The interview became really controversial because, to many people online, it seemed like she has given the dictator’s son a chance to brainwash the people and change what happened in history.
Instead of talking about the aggression and injustices during martial law, Toni gave PBBM the freedom to talk about his father in a good way. On the other hand, many people also believed that there is nothing wrong with the interview. BBM’s father’s fault is not his fault and the son should be burdened by what the father has done in the past.
And now that he has won, a second part of the interview happened and a teaser has been released on YouTube. This time, the interview was held at the Malacanang Palace. And this time around, BBM is now the president.
To recall, last May, PBBM made a great lead in the final and official tally garnering more than 31 million votes.
