Cop Accused of Harassing the Child of His Live-in Partner in Valenzuela

Police authorities arrested a cop who allegedly harassing the child of his live-in partner in Valenzuela City.

A police officer was detained by the Northern Police District (NPD) for allegedly harassing his stepdaughter, age 9. The NPD leadership promised that the accused officer would waste away in prison.

Valenzuela Cop Harassing

Cpl. Reynold Aggabao Panao, 38, a member of the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS), has been accused with statutory rap* based on the Abante report. On September 3, Panao was apprehended in his home after the victim’s mother requested assistance at the VCPS Dalandanan Substation.

According to the Women’s and Child Police Desk’s inquiry, the victim was harassed on September 3 at around one in the morning inside the attacker’s home in Dalandanan’s Sumilang Subdivision. The victim allegedly reported Panao for sexual assault to the police.

When her mother awoke, the malicious conduct abruptly came to an end. The suspect allegedly intimidated her as well, telling her not to make a sound or her mother would be punished, according to him. The victim also admitted that her stepdad repeatedly “touched” her.
