Liza Soberano noticed this while filming for her first Hollywood movie
Actress Liza Soberano shared the differences between movie production in the Philippines and in the United States of America.
For her first stint in Hollywood, Liza started filming for the movie Lisa Frankenstein featuring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse. The Filipino-American actress did not have a hard time getting along with her co-stars because they are fun to be with.
Pinoy fans of the actress have been anticipating her international career from the time she announced that she will pursue an acting career in Hollywood. She is currently filming for the movie directed by Zelda Williams who was the one who told her to audition for a role.
In a recent interview on CNN Philippines, Liza Soberano was asked about the differences she noticed in making movies in the Philippines and in the States. The actress shared that one thing that she noticed in American productions is that it is very collaborative than how it is done in the Philippines.
She shared that in Hollywood, there is a collaboration between departments, from the wardrobe and makeup to the actual production like the cameraman and the directors. “They come all together to make the film,” she said, adding that it is not the same in the Philippines.
In doing Pinoy movies, as Liza experienced, it is always the producer who would make the decisions. “Usually, the producers are the ones that give the direction to everybody and they kind of come together and work on the vision of the producers,” she said.
The Fil-Am actress also said that in Hollywood, everyone has the liberty or creative freedom to put their idea on how they can contribute to making the scene better. For Liza, this is more fun. She also said that working with Zelda Williams is amazing as there is collaboration.
