Billy Crawford values family time
Singer-host Billy Crawford always makes sure to spend time with his wife actress Coleen Garcia and their son Amari despite his busy schedule.
Billy is one of the artists who is seen on TV almost every day. He is one of the hosts of TV5’s noontime show Lunch Out Loud which is airing from Monday and Tuesday. Aside from this, he is also doing a show on GMA, The Wall Philippines.
Previously, the singer-host also announced that he will be part of Dancing with the Stars in France. It is known to many that Billy made a successful career in Europe and in the States as well.
Behind all his showbiz engagements, Billy Crawford is not setting aside his role as a husband and as a father. In a recent interview, based on an article in The Philippine Star, the singer-host said, “I still spend my time with my baby and my wife.”
Billy also expressed that it is a good thing that his work does not require him to be away from his family for a long time. He does not need to be in a lock-in taping in which he could be away for a couple of weeks.
“I don’t think I can handle that right now. Hindi ko kayang mawala ang pamilya ko (o mawalay sa kanila for) more than a day,” Billy said.
Meanwhile, talking about his hosting stint, he said that he would always incorporate everything he learned from director Bobet Vidanes, and TV hosts Boy Abunda and Luis Manzano.
Billy Crawford said that he would study what the show requires him to do. He would assess if the show requires him to be funny or serious, or if he would do goofy things. “So kailangan pinag-aaralan din lang naman ang lahat nang ginagawang trabaho,” the singer-host said.
