Liza Soberano’s Role In Horror-comedy Movie ‘Lisa Frankenstein’

LIZA SOBERANO – Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano finally revealed her role in the Hollywood film ‘Lisa Frankenstein.’

It was in May when Liza Soberano parted ways with her former manager Ogie Diaz. Then in June, she confirmed that she has moved to James Reid’s talent agency.

Liza and her beau Enrique Gil starred in several hit movies such as ‘Just The Way You Are,’ ‘My Ex and Whys,’ and ‘She’s The One.’ In a previous article, the actor said “wala munang LizQuen.”

Liza Soberano is now pursuing a career in Hollywood. She has been busy doing things out of the country including traveling to different places with James Reid.

Last July 31, the two were spotted at the 24th birthday of beauty influencer Bretman Rock. They enjoyed Filipino fast food with Bretman and TikTok star-turned-singer Bella Poarch.

Liza and Hollywood actor Cole Sprouse are now working together on the upcoming movie “Lisa Frankenstein,” alongside American actress Kathryn Newton. Cole is now following Soberano on Instagram.

Liza Soberano finally revealed her role in “Lisa Frankenstein.” In an interview with Rapper, the 24-year-old actress said she was ecstatic when she first learned about her role in the horror-comedy movie. She said she is playing a high school cheerleader from the ‘80s.

“I play Taffy who is a high school cheerleader from the ‘80s. One thing in particular that drew me to the role is I like the fact that it takes place in the ‘80s which is something that I didn’t get to do before. I’ve never done something from a different time period so I really enjoy all the different looks, the hair, the makeup, the outfits,” she said.

The Fil-Am actress added that doing a horror film is a dream come true. “Actually I can’t talk too much about the character because I don’t want to spoil anything for anybody but what drew me to the story is the genre itself. I always wanted to be in a horror movie. But what makes it exciting is it is a horror, comedy, romance,” she said.
