Billy Crawford will have a dancing stint in France
Lunch Out Loud host Billy Crawford announced in his recent social media post his participation in the French version of Dancing with the Stars.
The said dance competition TV program originated in the U.S. and was launched in 2005. It is a big hit at it has reached its 30th season already. The competition will feature professional dancers who will be paired with celebrities.
They tandem will train together for their dance presentation every episode and they will be guided by a panel of experts as they try to win the competition. France has its version of this dance competition show on TV and it is called Danse avec les Stars.
In a recent Instagram post, Billy Crawford shared the show’s poster featuring his image. “I’m so excited to go back and compete on @dals_tf1,” the LOL host wrote in the caption of his post. This post included a video in which Billy was speaking in French.
The singer-host admitted that he is also nervous aside from being excited. “It’s really a blessing but no lie, I’m super nervous! Thank you to the French public that I love very much! See you soon,” Billy said in French, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment.
Billy is fluent in French because his singing career in France in the early 2000s was a huge success. His songs also became popular in some parts of Europe and the United States of America. Now, he is set to be seen on the French TV network soon.
With this new endeavor in his career, Billy Crawford received support from his fellow celebrities such as Bea Alonzo, Tim Yap, Isabelle Daza, Matteo Guidicelli, Ogie Alcasid, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Rayver Cruz. Actress Iza Calzado shared a fangirling comment on this post of the LOL host. “My Billy Joe Crawford inner fan is rejoicing!!!! You got this, Billy!!!!” she wrote.
