Claudine Barretto Talks About Her Adopted Children

CLAUDINE BARRETTO – Optimum Star Claudine Barretto has adopted children and this is what she said about them.

Country’s Optimum Star Claudine Barretto is one of the personalities people highly admire not just only for her talent and beauty but also for her heart in giving children a good home and a good family. The screen veteran has three adopted kids and one biological son with her estranged husband Raymart Santiago.

Her three adopted kids are Sab who is already 18 years old, Quia, 7 years old, and Noah who is now 3 years old. Her biological son is Santino and he is 15 years old.

And talking about her children, she said that Quia is their answered prayer. Sab and Santino accordingly wanted a baby sister and just two weeks after, they got her. As for Noah, she also prayed to have him although she is not used to raising a baby boy.

Accordingly, she is more used to dealing with girls because she was among the people who raised her nieces, the daughters of her sister Marjorie Barretto such as Dani, Julia, and Claudia.

“So, nahirapan ako pati kay Saint na boy. ‘Tapos sabi ko, ‘Kapag binigyan ako ng boy ni God, siguro para sa akin talaga.’ For some reasons sinabi ko talaga yun. Kasi mas gusto ko sana girl. And then, ayun si Noah, inantay ko na a month bago ipinanganak. And then, napunta na sa akin,” she narrated.

Accordingly, being a mother gives her a very satisfying and fulfilling feeling. And adopting for her is not for any selfish reasons like receiving the love and happiness but more on giving it to them on her part.

She believes that they are all meant to be together and that they are given to her by God. She expressed based on a report from PEP, “I always say na we’re meant to be. Na itong mga ito, para sa akin talaga ito. Inilaan talaga ito. Pinaplano pa lang ni God ang buhay ko, kasama na sila.”
